Cover notes:

Moondog is unique. He's one of New York's most interesting and unusually talented musical personalities.
Born Louis Thomas Hardin in Kansas, in 1916, he became blind at the age of 16. The son of missionaries, his early life was spent in Indian country. This primitive background has undoubtedly influenced and enhanced his interpretations and compositions.
Moondog made this recording with several unusual instruments such as the "oo", and the "trimbas" invented by himself. The amazing melody and rhythm he attains in this unique compositions is a tribute to his extraordinary musical ability.
